June 15th will not only be the launch date of Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FS2 digicam, it’d also be the day when you can start seeing the new brown-colored Lumix DMC-TZ3 digital camera on the Japan market. This compact camera sports a 10x optical zoom lens, 28mm true wide-angle, a 3.0-inch LCD display with viewfinder, a 7.2 megapixel CCD sensor, and Venus 3 processing engine. The company doesn’t mention about the price on its press release, but I bet it won’t be much different than the price of the other TZ3 series digital cameras.

It sports a 2.8-inch colors display, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 11.4MB internal memory with SDHC and MMC media card support for additional storage. Furthermore, the camera supports H.264 video format, as well as UHQ video mode with 848×480 resolution @ 7MBps (DVD-like quality). Panasonic has just announced the launch of its new 12.2 megapixel digital camera, Lumix DMC-FX100 model. This compact digicam boasts the ability to record movie in HD (High-Definition format) at a resolution of 1280 x 720 @ 15fps. Unfortunately, it is only equipped with a 27MB onboard memory, so users will definitely need to use SD media card for storing those fat HD video. When it comes to still image, FX100 can take photo in 4:3 mode and 16:9 widescreen mode for a whopping 4000 x 2248 image resolution. Along with VLUU i70 Slide, Samsung Techwin also unveiled “VLUU i7 Rotate” during Photo & Imaging 2007 event in Korea. This one comes with the same 7.2 megapixel CCD sensor, but different design. Moreover, it supports 2/3-inch HD progressive 3CCD technology, as well as F11 (2000lx) sensitivity video recording. Sounds good. Sony will soon release DSC-W200 digital camera in Japan. This 12.1 megapixel digicam sports a 3x optical zoom Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, a 6x digital zoom, up to ISO 3200, various scene modes (Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, High Sensitivity, Extra High Sensitivity, Soft Snap), white balance, red eye reduction, a 2.5-inch 115k pixels LCD display with viewfinder, and USB interface. Measures 91 x 58.5 x 27.3 mm and weighs 142 grams, it also features a 31MB onboard memory with Memory Stick / Pro Duo media slot, PictBridge direct printing support, and rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. Measures 61 x 90 x 135mm and weighs 435g, “DZ-HS300A” is the latest camcorder from Hitachi. What make this 1/6-inch CCD camcorder special is that it can record the video in either DVD or its built-in 8G hard drive (up to 3 hours in fine-quality mode).
