The Lenovo-owned company is likely to unveil the Moto G8 Play and Moto G8 Power in addition to the Moto G8 and Moto G8 Plus to offer upgrades to its existing Moto G7 family.

Dutch blog Mobielkopen has leaked alleged press renders of the Moto G8. Renderers suggest that the new phone of the Moto G-series will come with a gradient back panel. The triple rear camera setup with LED flash module is also clearly visible in the leaked render.

The camera setup has two sensors on a capsule-shaped housing including an LED flash. However, the primary sensor seems to be out of the camera housing - above the other two sensors.

Text available on the render suggests that the Moto G8 rear camera setup will include a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, although the resolution of the sensor is not provided.

At the front, the Moto G8 features a waterdrop-style display and a thick chin - without Motorola branding. The phone also has a USB Type-C port at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top.

The overall design featured in the leaked render of the Moto G8 resembles the rumored Moto G8 Plus.

The Moto G8 will come without the laser autofocus module that will appear on the leaked render of the Moto G8 Plus.

In addition to renders suggesting its design, the launch date of the Moto G8 has been taken by Dutch blog via Invite Image. The formal event will be held on October 24 at 9 am CDT (7:30 pm IST) in Mexico City.

Although renderers are quite likely to show what we can infer as the Moto G8, the Dutch source mentions that they may be of the Moto G8 Play - if not the Moto G8.

We have yet to see rumors exposing the specifications of the Moto G8. Nevertheless, considering its rumored launch next week, some sources will soon be revealed with raw details.

Meanwhile, the Moto G8 Plus is rumored to feature an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with a 6.3-inch full-HD + (1080x2280 pixels) IPS display and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to have a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor and includes a 4,000mAh battery.
